Just another week...
Good Morning! What a morning! I stayed up last night originally to make my list for Costco but since the 6 year-old granddaughter spent the night we played Yahtzee instead. Finally, at about 2300 she said she was tired and went down to the lower level to bed. By 2330 she was asleep. At 0130 the first kiddo woke up with a tummy ache. She stayed up until 0300. At 0333, there was a request for a chocolate milk, I tried hard to ignore it. Finally, at 0400, I gave in and got the request fulfilled. Some mornings I feel like an Amazon fulfillment center.
DH was awake and in pain. Once the pain wakes him he is up for a while. It is hard to watch as nothing really helps. The dogs left me gifts to clean up and when I returned to deliver the milk my granddaughter was wide awake and ready for the day, along with #10. I went into full surrender mode and went upstairs. My original intention was to lay down upstairs on my own bed. I opted for a shower and to begin my day.
Originally, I was avoiding Costco and any other store for that matter except the Commissary. It seems I could go there and shop in peace. I haven't really needed big items, just a few ingredients here and there. It seems the major chains don't carry "ingredients" like they used to. Most everything is minimal work. Heat and eat type things. Which for a small family might be okay, but if there are more than just a couple eating this is not economical.
A few days ago I moved my computer from the dining room table to the desk in my room. This was an attempt at having a space hat didn't have to be rearranged because it was school time or meal time or whatever. I originally had planned to go out east today and let the kids run free. With a neighbor being in isolation, it is hard to keep the kids in the yard. To reduce the risks involved it is best to go to the other house until the quarantine time is up.
At 0415 my granddaughter brought me her tooth. It was terribly loose last night so this was not a big surprise. The tooth fairy is going to have to come tonight! Hmm... I wonder how she is dealing with Covid-19. Maybe this is how it is being transferred. Well I am not going to go to Costco today. I just don't want to stand in a long line and I don't have the time.
I can figure out what to do without the things I was going after anyway. Plus, the kids have hours of computer work to do. Maybe I can focus on looking for my phone.
