I owe, I owe so off to work I go... again

Well, now that we are solidly back into debt it is time for me to get solidly back to work. The new solar panels and the RV need money. Since I am primarily the one who wanted them, I feel fiscally responsible for them. I do have my thoughts set on buying a smaller RV next spring. That said I still have to pay for both of these items first. the money pit  As I texted my supervisor and agreed to take a 6-hour shift tonight, I pondered all the objections I would face on the home front once they knew I would be leaving to go. Of course, as soon as I admitted that I had picked up a shift all the objections began to flow. I hired my granddaughter to watch the youngest to ease the anxiety of me being gone till midnight. That didn't work out quite as well as I had hoped. I received multiple calls from the youngest that night. My relief showed up early and we changed hands, and I headed to the door... just in time to hear a scream from down the hall. The brand new to us ADON, had her...

Still waiting...

It is the day we were supposed to get results... we are still waiting. Looming on the horizon is how to handle the my granddaughter's need for childcare tomorrow. Everyone here has been fever free since Monday, and we have been looking at the walls together since then. Still no word from the lab though.  Our new books for the second semester arrived today. Sure hope they are as good as the reviews! Especially in the math and science department. We are all bored with the copy work and the mundane action of completing "book work". The holidays were a nice break for the kiddos from "school work" but it is time to get back at it.  As much as I miss the school teachers, I do enjoy lazy, somewhat quiet mornings, without having to rush to get kids out to a bus or delivered to a school building. The oldest having an IEP was helpful, but the youngest didn't have one. The nightly battles to do homework were almost worse than the early morning battle to get ready! No...

clean refrigerator Sunday... not! Plus can you say whoa! that's a lot of debt!

Well really it sort of is I did start with the refrigerator in our kitchen. I emptied what needed to go and wiped down two shelves. That is about all I will get done today. We have meat that needs to be ground into hamburger and I will spend another half hour trying to find the adapter piece for my kitchen aid mixer.  Today is a no school day... church and playing for them, work and cleaning for me and DH is doing outside work. I am really working diligently to pay off all our debt so getting homeschool materials at the lowest price possible is important to me. This week did not see any bill paid completely off but this is the third month in a row I have not dipped into our LOC at the bank.  That is really good for me anyway. I plan to sell stuff at a garage sale, but I am struggling. Here is my dilemma our church started having a yard sale each spring to raise money for missions. So each spring that I have thought I would sell some stuff to raise money to pay down my debt...
