Weeks after...
This post was from early March and I was going to delete it but I decided to just go ahead and post it.
It must be interesting as it's been about 10 minutes and now the spice cupboard is open. And just as quickly closed. We will get dressed and start out day after eating. The girls and I have already removed stuff from the attic for the electrician. Hopefully things that will not return to the attic without a purpose.
It has been almost 30 days since the surgery. Things are getting better for DH. Yesterday therapy helped him get into the small car without too much difficulty. So that will be our go to vehicle for appointments.
Finally, she sat down to eat her Malt-O-Meal.
This morning was hippotherapy we made it on time with a minute to spare. The young one is very happy going to therapy and I'm very happy it's the only therapy today. The electrician is at the house working on the Attic.
The clouds are rolling in over the mountain would be nice to have rain, but it won't reach our house. The neighbor has an appointment on Monday, and she has enlisted med ride, hopefully, she has done that.
I'm seriously considering returning to homeschooling until we get through these 6 weeks of therapy as it will cut down on the chaos. But I'm undecided as the children do like school, they just like it on their terms. And I like calm mornings where I'm not rushing out the door trying to get somewhere by a certain time homeschooling allows that.
Most of our appointments are set for March so they were set with the idea that I would be going out in the early mornings to take kids to school anyway so just take people for appointments. That only adds to the chaos of the morning.
I'm hoping the electrician is done today or tomorrow and that we can get the upstairs inspected at that point we can then try and figure out if we want to move or finish the space or both.
As planned the electrician will be done today, he told me I could call for the rough-in inspection which is kind of cool because I'm excited about it. he's doubtful that the heating system that we purchased will heat the whole upstairs or cool it. He suggested we run a 240 line to the other end just in case and we might do that.
The morning started off early. SIL was up early not sure she remembered she had an appointment, but she might have her therapist was here early but before that the visiting nurse came for DH. I went in and told him after she called that she was coming, and he said when do I start home care and why? I said you're on home Care you've been on it since you came home from the hospital that's what all the therapy is. He said I've been home over 2 months why do I need this? At that point I said it's okay she's just checking in on all the people who come. He said they're not here, are they? I left the room.
