Hello Blog...

Good afternoon blog. It has been quite a while since I took time out to write something on here. I blame my new phone for the delay in writing. I can no longer get pictures to upload for my entries and that is very frustrating. I like looking at pictures when I see the blogs of others. I like posting pictures on my blog too.

We haven't tried any new recipes lately, although the oldest kiddo at home wants to try some. I have to go get some missing ingredients before she can attempt the ones she chose. When I go to do cat care today, I need to remember to get Tums and Neosporin along with the items she needs.

Yesterday on returning from the outpatient procedure for DH, I totally spaced the cats, the Tums and the Neosporin. It was too flippin' cold to be outside without a coat and I was just that. It took most of the afternoon to get warm once I got here. It is now Friday and it isn't much warmer outside, but at least the wind is not as aggressive. The cats want to go outside so I am going to let them see how cold it is.

This morning I had a little surprise related to post-procedure bleeding. I expected some but only one foot had any. That is probably because the tech that administered the anesthetic poked the syringe right through the toe and sprayed anesthetic all over her before pulling the syringe tip back into the toe. I snickered under my breath, but she did not notice. Since the only toe that bled was the one she poked through, I am going to guess it will be fine.

Like most Fall seasons the war with the mice is underway. They are tricky little beasts this year and seem to be able to avoid the traps with ease. They are also quite brazen. They appear in the light of day and do not appear dismayed at the sight of humans or cats or dogs.

I am on constant alert to move traps and with some measure of luck get rid of the pests before they file for a deed to the property.
