cold and windy and down one cat...

This morning the wind is blowing quite intensely, and the temps are much cooler than yesterday. The smoke is not as intense as it was with the wind coming out of the Northwest this morning. I have spent most of the morning trying to find a contractor to install some security doors to help deter any more visits that are uninvited. So far not much interest in the job.

I do not like the cold. Neither do the cats, well maybe one cat does; Stitch was near the house most of the evening until he wasn't. This morning he still remains on the lam. Stitch has not adjusted well to the move, nor to the addition of Athena into the group. I think sometimes he would like both Blue and Athena to just disappear... wait maybe those are my thoughts.

I find it weird that anyone just randomly decided to break into our home, and it would seem that there was no other reason than just to break in. Not sure what scared them off. Maybe the car in the garage and thinking they picked the wrong house? I guess I will never know.

On with the day. The youngest made a bowl cozy at school. Not bad for her first time using a machine to sew! She has been sick, so our plans have had to change in regard to her illness. I really don't want to clean vomit from a car interior.

Well, the household is starting to come alive with noise and the pitter patter of little feet has been replaced with the sound of elephants running in the attic. My they grow up so fast!

I had intended to plant some things this weekend, but plans change... sometimes like the wind.

With that I will close and get some food ready for the circus characters and get on with our day.
