Wind, Smoke and Water

It has been a minute since I made an entry to the blog. A lot has happened since then. I have narrowed the list of things I will share in this post to just a few items otherwise it will be a book not a post.

First, I made the dreaded trip to the mall with the girls, we visited the fake Toys R Us and they sat with Geoffrey for old times' sake... at least old-time's sake for the older 3 the youngest has no clue what Toys r Us even was to kids in the past. Now two days later and a much lighter wallet, we have two very sick visitors of the mall.

Over there is still a ton of things that need to be done before we head back to the other house. Unfortunately, we received bad news today. Our home was broken into. One of the garage doors was kicked or rammed in with something. The police pointed out that attempts were made at prying open the interior garage door into the main house. We are not sure what occurred to make the intruder stop, but they did not get into the main house.

There is not much we can do for now. The door is as secure as it can be made until we can figure something out. At first glance, nothing seems to be missing,

and no one was hurt so there is that to be thankful for.

It stinks but it is what it is.

On a brighter note we received new pictures of the littles this week!

She is getting so big! I can hardly wait to go see her!!
