13 and counting...

 Now that is scary! I have not been consistently counting down on the blog but in my mind, it hasn't stopped! With about 90 some days left in the year and less than that to the holiday season the stress level is bound to pick up. This year we have decided that we would travel instead of staying here. Not sure this will work out with all of the animals we have, but we are going to try. We have been downsizing the flock a little at a time. There is more rehoming to do. Of course, there are also the dogs to consider and SIL.

There is more planning to do in that arena, so let's move on, shall we? Our new neighbors are the "Sanctorium Eco-Village" they have events once in a while. Most recently it was a band and that was another weird situation. The ads for the place pictures what could be a rain forest. The spokesperson for the group speaks of how they intend to restore the land, the trees and without saying it he implies the rain forest. I think we should stick around to see this!

However. we are traveling this weekend to look at property and land in Oklahoma. I found one that meets the criteria mostly. Not near as nice as the one that got away, but definitely nice. Four bedrooms and 3 baths and lots of out buildings and some land. It is only about half the acreage though. Also, no storm shelter.  There was some hunting property available too. That is the one that DH is most interested in. Yes, it has more acreage, but no ponds and no buildings. His dream is to build a hobbit house to live in... not mine. He also does not want to sell this property.

The sunrise potential is amazing here. It will be interesting to see the sunrise there also. I am sure it does... okay reasonably sure. Next weekend we plan to have another yard sale to rid ourselves of a few more things. Hopefully, a lot more things.
