Finally we made it to the museum

On Saturday we finally made our trip to the space museum. I almost put it off till Monday, of course then my daughter told me they're closed on Monday and Sunday every week. Monday being President's Day probably would have made it crowded if it was open.

Of course the kids were all interested in the gift shop more than seeing the museum. There were many new and interesting displays this time; some of the big stuff never changes. I enjoyed the room that told about the planets with visual aids and a live speaker.

The room where you get to drive the lunar rover on Mars is fun for the kids!

#9 & #4 have the Rover stuck at a structure.

There were many things to see this time that weren't available last time. Also the kids got a new poster to add to their collection of space related posters. This trip they received Columbia.

Last trip they received the Challenger Shuttle poster. On the way home I received the "have fun in the snow storm" driving award.

Well that's enough for today. I need to get some work done around here.
